A 501(c)(3) Non-profit organization founded by Constable Silvia Trevino.
After becoming the first Latina Constable in Harris County in 2017, Constable Silvia Trevino made it her mission to engage with her community as much as possible by establishing essential programs, and giving back to enrich our Community.
In 2021, Constable Trevino established her 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, allowing businesses and members of our community to assist in fulfilling her mission to provide these services and resources to our Community.
Attended by over a thousand people each year, National Night Out fosters relationships between members of our community and law enforcement.
Every year (with the exception of 2020 and 2021 during the pandemic), Constable Trevino gives away hundreds of turkeys to seniors in her community.
Constable Silvia Trevino's annual Trunk or Treat event is a family friendly, drive-thru experience that provides children with a safe way to enjoy the Halloween season.
Pictures With Blue Santa is an annual event hosted by Constable Trevino where every child in attendance gets a photo with our Blue Santa and a free gift!
Constable Silvia Trevino believes than an investment in our youth is an investment toward a better future. Each year, Kindness Empowers You provides scholarships to local Precinct 6 students.
Constable Silvia Trevino cares deeply for our local seniors and hosts multiple events annually to show her appreciation of them. After the Texas freeze, Constable Trevino established the R-U-OK Senior Program, which periodically checks on the welfare of our seniors.
Constable Trevino says the seniors are the “Heart of the Home” or “El corazón de Nuestro Hogar.”
Constable Silvia Trevino recognized a need in her community for a No Bullying, No Drugs, No Gangs, No Guns program and established her Friends4Ever program. The program has been implemented in over twenty local schools and counting!
Please consider donating to Kindness Empowers You (KEY) so we can continue to host events for our community and provide resources to those that need it most in Precinct 6.
